Treatment Strategies – ESC Congress 2009 Review

Over the last few years, progress in the field of cardiovascular disease has been truly remarkable. However, cardiovascular disease still causes nearly half of all deaths in Europe (49%) and in the EU (42%). In fact, Coronary heart disease remains the leading cause of mortality in men over 45 years, and in women over 65 years throughout Europe.
The European Society of Cardiology (ESC), representing 59,000 cardiology professionals across Europe and the Mediterranean, has determined that the prevention of cardiovascular disease will be the highlight of this year’s annual congress. The congress will take place between the 29th August and the 2nd September in Barcelona, with the Treatment Strategies – ESC Congress 2009 Review coming out shortly afterwards, during the 2nd week of September.
As requested by cardiovascular professionals and manufacturers alike, Treatment Strategies – ESC Congress 2009 Review will bring influential articles and cardiovascular professionals together, in order to build a forum to showcase and discuss leading drugs, as well as, technological and therapeutic developments.
